Online poker players all
over the world - here is your chance to make a
difference. Absolute Poker is hosting
an online poker donation tournament to
generate revenue for
the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief
efforts. Absolute Poker will match all collected
monies, donating 100% of money raised online to help
victims in desperate need.
The online poker tournaments have been
set up specifically for donations and are not
authentic online poker games. Those wanting to
participate in the charity event par can
go to AbsolutePoker.com and select a Hurricane
Katrina Relief Fund tourney from the tournament
lobby. Donors can register in any tournament. They
will range from $1 - $100 poker tables.
Also, players can make account transfers
from their own account to an account called,
Katrina Fund, directly through the automated
system within the Absolute Poker Cashier.

is Absolute Poker's 2nd fundraiser for victims of natural disasters.
Through a similar tournament and donation-driven
fundraiser, the company raised over $14,000 to aid
victims of the Tsunami in Indonesia in December
2004. These funds were donated to the International
Committee of the Red Cross.
