After spending 3 full days
touring Mississippi's hurricane damage, Pinnacle
Entertainment's Cheif Exec, says he believes in
rebuilding. He also believes the Casino Magic
riverboat can be rebuilt within 2 years.
He wants to incorporate the
casino's workers into the new project. too. Helping
to rebuild the casino will provide work for the
hundreds od casino workers that are in need of their
jobs to continue. The company plans to train its
existing casino employees to do various jobs.
To rebuild Casino Magic,
Pinnacle is usuing the same team it used to build
its casino resort in Lake Charles, La. Those include
Las Vegas architects and designers Bergman Walls and
Associates and Avery Brooks and Associates.
The general contractor will
give preference to hiring Pinnacle employees.
The company's other casino
in the region, Boomtown New Orleans, was not damaged
hurt by the hurricane.

he
Biloxi casino's customers tend to come from Florida,
which wasn't destroyed by the hurricane. Nearby,
residents are already beginning to start over.
The casino operator company
has vowed to continue paying workers while its 2
casinos are closed.
